Company: NEO, Inc. Job Description: Project Coordinator Reports To: Director Salary Range: $30k - $35k annually, salary is commensurate with experience.
Job Summary: Serves as a key team member to provide project and administrative support for project manager and project director for both projects and new client applications. Directly manages, schedules and supervises project vendors while ensuring quality results. Recognized as a secondary contact on project and client application accounts. Must have excellent customer service skills and organizational capabilities. Must also have a general knowledge of the project management discipline, knowledge of systems furniture, and ability to prepare block and space plans. Must possess a general knowledge of construction, architecture, design and facility industries. Must be proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and AutoCad. Must be willing to make a long term commitment to NEO including willingness to work in excess of 50 hours per week with occasional weekend activity and travel.

Planning/Organizing/Problem Resolution: · Utilizes and manages logical, systematic and orderly procedures to meet project objectives by working effectively to establish practical and efficient time frames, priorities, and approaches while developing contingency plans to anticipate probable outcomes and minimize waste, error or risk. · Follows procedures, processes and systems to manage and allocate resources according to priorities that insure order, accuracy, and profitability while constantly monitoring project goals and making adjustments as needed. · Utilizes logical and systematic processes to anticipate, analyze and resolve problems or obstacles proactively by initiating a progressive solution that leads to optimal results. · Resourceful with dedicated follow through to keep all parties on time with respect to client deadlines.

Responsibilities, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements: · 1 to 2 years of experience. · A general knowledge of technology such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Access and AutoCAD. · A general knowledge of system furniture. · Ability to prepare block plans/space plans. · A general knowledge of space planning and circulation requirements. · Brings to the position a general knowledge regarding the discipline of project management. · Comprehends simple mathematical concepts such as geometry and formulas. · Has a comprehensive grasp of the English language including grammar, punctuation, semantics, and diction with respect to in person and written communications. · Possesses a general knowledge of the construction, architecture, design, and facility industries including a general understanding of furniture manufacturers, furniture installation, and inventory including the respective time constraints involved. · The ability to understand a project’s lifecycle: schedule, deadlines, change, problem resolution, contingency planning, and reporting of time and expenses. · General knowledge of estimating, planning, and managing budgets with respect to profitability, timeframe, and multi-tasking. · Ability to develop a strong relationship of communication between other team members. · Demonstrates proficiency with establishing relationships with all levels of an organization from executive to departmental liaisons. · Ensures an in-depth understanding of NEO policies, procedures, processes, and service offerings with a willingness to promote them throughout the lifecycle of every project. · Long-term commitment to NEO including willingness to work flexible hours in excess of 50 hours a week with occasional weekend activity, and provide whatever is necessary to accomplish project goals and meet scheduled deadlines.
