REGIONAL SALES MANAGER
Huper Optik, a manufacturer and distributor of high-tech, energy savings, Green efficient window coatings, is seeking a hard working, enthusiastic and aspiring sales professional to continue building its constantly growing Florida region.
This is a hands on sales position that involves direct selling, accounts management/growth and eventually some national accounts selling. It encompasses all aspects of increasing sales revenues for the company in the entire Florida market, one of the most significant markets for the company products in various segments.
Huper Optik, a ten year old solidly growing company markets and distributes professionally installed, retrofit, energy saving, Green products of the latest technology that dramatically helps the interior lifestyles of people in commercial and residential environments as well as in automobiles, marine and mass transit applications.
This new team member would be responsible for creating, facilitating and managing sales activity with the company’s dealer relationships in the state of Florida, prospect for new relationships to recruit into the company’s dealer network and build upstream relationships with key industry partners within Florida. This role is crucial for the continued growth of the company in its continental expansion plans.
This position requires a blend of attitudes and skills that fulfill various types of selling. Huper Optik is looking for just the right person that is enthusiastic about the value of an opportunity to grow. We are much more interested in your past results than your prior titles. · Solid background in selling and sales, to include business to business sales experience. Experience to encompass going directly to people to build solid relationships with both existing customers as well as new ones. · Experience in window film is not a requirement. Training is involved. However, having experience in some related field to either energy, Green, energy technology, energy efficiency related products, window coverings, hvac, interior design, construction and design or other related fields would definitely help both the candidate and the company. · Superior presentation and interpersonal skills with a show of enthusiasm and excitement for what is being presented as well as for those receiving the messages. · Clear and effective communications skills with an ability to listen as well as to talk in addition to professional presentation skills. · Basic computer skills with Office products, e-mail and Internet user activity. · An entrepreneurial spirit to grow as an individual while still being a team player, the key to the core purpose and values of the company. · A sincere passion to learn the issues out in the market, organize those issues into the selling path and effectively integrate them into sales results. · A self-motivating style to be responsive and results oriented. · An inherent desire to always learn and take instruction from those that can help you achieve greater performances and results. · A positive attitude about work and contributing to a team effort. Huper Optik operates under a solid team umbrella. Candidates should expect the following requirements for this important role:
· Be willing to travel the state of Florida as needed to service relationships and to market the company in various ways. · To increase dealer relationships in designated areas. · To increase participation of all dealers, both new and existing, in the HOUSA Dealer Network Program. That includes sales revenues as well as all other pertinent categories of the program designed for the customers. · Contribute to the shaping of plans to increase market share. · Work closely with other distributors in their respective territories and help wherever possible to advance their initiatives with regard to the company products. · Work closely to support all the other strategic units and departments within HOUSA. · To attend all assigned meetings of the company and actively participate.
